Certifications, Affiliations and Awards
Certifications
When you call ServiceMaster by ARTec, you can take comfort in the knowledge that all of our technicians are fully certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). They are also trained regularly on the newest technology and innovations in the industry so that you can rest assured we are using the best possible equipment in your home. Our technicians have the following certifications:
- ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician
- SRT – Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician
- WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician
Owner Bob Neef has all of the previous certifications, plus the status of Certified Restorer (CR) and Water Loss Specialist (WLS) from the Restoration Industry Association (RIA). The Certified Restorer certification is pre-eminent in the industry, as it is the highest and most difficult certification to achieve.

Bob Neef and our Warehouse Manager, Mark Taylor, have just become Haag Certified Residential Roof Inspectors. It’s just one more way we are showing our commitment to being the best we can be. Awards Over the years, ServiceMaster by ARTec has received awards for excellence in disaster restoration projects. In 1998 we received the Phoenix Award from the Restoration Industry Association, and in 2001 we received the Chrysalis Award for our remodeling work.
